Rural transport and Mobility in West and Central Africa - An SDC/Skat Workshop
2007-08-14
The Mobility Team at the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) and Skat are hosting a regional workshop for West and Central Africa in N'Djamena, Chad in September 2007.
With a focus on rural transport and mobility in the region the workshop will:
1) Catalyze and synthesise experiences and lessons learnt.
2) Commit to shared thinking on good practices.
3) Formulate pragmatic action plans.
4) Strengthen networking in the region.Participants in the meeting will include international, regional and national transport programme and/or project managers and practitioners, SDC programme officers from Niger, Burkina Faso, Chad, and Benin and central government representatives from the region.
