The Gatnet gender and transport email network is hosting a consultation on the World Bank’s Transport
Strategy for 2007 to 2015.
The consultation, moderated by Gatnet members, will commence on Monday 3rd April 2006 and
continue for 4 weeks. Discussions will be organized as follows:
Weeks 1&2: Free flowing discussion structured by the moderator to generate issues for further exploration.
Week 3: Synthesis of weeks 1 & 2 highlighting emerging issues.
Week 4: Focus on concrete actions and strategies, i.e how do we make the strategy more gender-responsive.
